Ship dates and Horween straps

Okay... The watches are on the way to us first of next week. I apologize if I wasn't clear. They were scheduled to ship to our warehouse on the 22nd. That got delayed by a few days. They should be to us by the end of next week or the first of the next.

I know everyone is more than ready. Unfortunately these timelines are never exact but we aren't far off from our original plan.

We consulted with Hadley Roma. On the Horween we decided on blue for the white dial and black for the black.

Hello!

I did speak with Hadley Roma. Our color plan is to do the blue with blue (like you saw), burgundy for the white and black for the black. If anyone has strong other opinions let us know. We haven't started production on those yet. They won't take a long time.

August 22nd the Watches Ship to Us

The watches will ship to us on Aug. 22. Our goal will still be to ship them out before the end of August. It may be tight.

But the watches will be shipping within the next 3 weeks or so.

Watches Should be Shipping to Us in About 2 Weeks

Hello!

We are happy to report that the Tran-Siberian watches are nearly done with production. There is still quality control to be performed and the date isn't exact yet, but we should be able to fulfill the orders within August as we originally planned.

However, we had to order the fob and chain additional item separate and later, so they will have to come about a month or so after you get your watches. We won't hold the watches for that. Those will ship later at our expense.

Here is a picture of what the watch looks like with the "plug" in place once the lug is removed to make it a pocket watch. This isn't the greatest pic, but it shows the idea. While the screw is not completely flush, we don't think it is very noticeable. And certainly will look better on the wooden stand this way than with two lugs.

Hello!

We have been reviewing everyone's comments both here and in other places. Specifically about how the lugs are designed. WhIle changing the entire design of the lugs is not possible now, as we would have to open up the molds, we have made a change that we hope everyone will find exciting.

We have made a substantial change that had little to no impact on the production process that will make the timepiece have another function. We have made it where the bottom lug can be unscrewed and removed and then replaced by a "plug" screw so the watch can used as a pocket watch. Of course, this can be changed back and forth as desired. So if the watch is uncomfortable for you on the wrist, there is an alternative way to use the watch.

We will also be including a fob and chain. All units, regardless of tier, will get this upgrade. Please note that I have been wearing the prototype for weeks now and find it completely comfortable on the wrist. And my wrist is not large at 7.5 inches.

Nevertheless, we think this alternative option is really cool and hope you like it. The only thing visually we have to share right now is the technical drawing of the way the plug screw will work.

As soon as we get pictures of how the watch will look as a pocket watch we will let you know.
